What is MSME? :-

MSME stands for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. These are businesses defined by their investment in plant & machinery or equipment and annual turnover, and they form the backbone of the Indian economy, contributing significantly to employment, manufacturing, exports, and GDP.

 

MSME Registration (Udyam) Required Documents :-

It is a free, paperless, and online registration process provided by the Government of India under the Ministry of MSME.

 

• Aadhaar number (of proprietor/partner/director)
• PAN and GSTIN (if applicable)
• Bank account details
• Business activity details

 

MSME and Tenders: How It Helps :-

• EMD & Tender Fee Exemption: Registered MSMEs are exempt from paying Earnest Money Deposit in many government tenders.
• Relaxed Criteria: Past experience and turnover requirements are often relaxed.
• Reservation: Procurement from MSMEs is encouraged in public sector undertakings (PSUs) and government departments.
